I think it is wierd that everyone gets mad when you say "I could care less" couldn't that actually be a compliment? It means that you do care and that you could care less then you do.......

Any comments?

You're absolutely right! If you're trying to insult someone, the correct saying is, ' I COULDN'T care less', as in, it's just not possible to care any less than I do already... So yeah, if someone says they could care less, I guess that's a good thing.

The actual phrase is "I COULDN'T care less". People say it wrong so it actually means what you are saying, so yes, you are right.

It's actually "I COULDN'T CARE LESS"...

Trust me, my teacher friend corrects me every time i say "could care less"
