i have about 500-550 bones to spend on a gaming computer and i would like to know what others reccomend for parts. I decided to build one myself so any piece of hardware from case to mobo would help.

Thanks

For the case, just about any ATX case should work, so you should consider price and what you want your system to look like on the outside. As far as hardware, the important thing is to make sure all the hardware you purchase is compatible with each other. Personally, I really like the website, http://www.newegg.com/, for building systems because you can see whether or not things are compatible by looking at the statistics. Considering how much money you're looking to spend, you should be able to build a pretty good system.

yikes 500-550 isn't that big of a budget, but i recommend you visit newegg.com. They have great deals and packages to help the Build it Yourself person.
