The cowboys - they were the last dominant team before the salary cap - the linemen were huge and the team will have more hall of famers when it is all done

It's all about shutting down the run game. The Cowboys wouldn't be able to stop Walter Payton, no one could ever do that. On the otherhand it might be interesting to see Emmit try and bounce off of one of the fridges tackles or Mike Singletary, that man was a beast. It would definately be close though. The Cowboys knew how to win games, their blocking was like a brick wall. I say 14-7 Bears.

the short passing game would kill the Bears 46 defense. That's why you dont see it anymore. So the Cowboys could just call slants to Irvin and Harper while the Bears are blitzing the LB's. Irvin and Harper would run wild through the secondary. Dallas OL was good enough to give Aikman the necessary time to pass, which for the slant would only be a second or two.

Oh, wow, by far the Chicago Bears. The most dominant defense neone has ever seen. Plau the best running back and oline no matter how good emmitt smith did, walter did so much better and in every aspect. I will give the cowboys had a better QB and WR tho, but not by much with the WR.

The Bears. easy. Cowboys would rank behind the '72 Dolphins, Dynasty Steelers and most of the 80's Niners teams too.

Excellent question. One of the the things that made the bears great was an innovative defense, so that is a really difficult thing to transfer to a heads up matchup.
As far as dominating the competition, I would go with the Bears. As far as overall talent, I would go with the Cowboys.

The 2001 Patriots...Seriously, I'd have to pick the 85 Bears...9 times out of 10, good defense usually beats good offense...They had Walter Payton too, anyway...

That's easy the Cowboys suck so they would't stand a chance against any team the bears would win definetly.
