I have been a student athelete my entire High School Career (and Even Before) I play Club Basket ball and Volleyball as well as Varsity Volleyball and Basketball at my School. My Problem is that sports take up ALOT of my time, so I dont have any other Extra- curricular activities. Does The College Admissions Recognize sports as a "good" extra-curricular?

If you plan on playing at the college level (even a Division III school, which can recruit you but not give you an athletic scholarship), then yes, it's a major asset. If you're not planning on playing, it might be good to look a little more diverse and have one or two other activities.

Still, in terms of being a "good" extra-curricular, yes, schools look kindly upon it. They know it takes a huge time commitment and that it helps cultivate teamwork and leadership skills. The amount of time you've dedicated to sports will also show that you have a real passion for something. Your sports experience will also provide a great potential topic for your application essays.

Seeing as you are in varsity it shows you've put the time in effort into the sports so its ok that you dont have any others. I just graduated high school and the college advisers always stressed that it was important to have just a few extra-curriculars instead of a bunch that you dont really care that much about. It might be good to get some voulenteer work in or coach little kids or something just to have something else though!
