they can live in a wide range of climates b/c they, by definition, are not dependent on external temperatures, because they can regulate by internal metabolic production of heat.

That being said, in the end, there is no "superior"...it just depends on the conditions given.

They can live in a wide range of climates. A human, for example can be very very cold or very very hot, but they won't have to migrate like ectothermic animals such as a fish have to migrate else where, because thanks to homeostasis our body fights to stay @ the normal temperature of 98.6F

Agreed, they can live in a wide range of climates.

Also - they can be active at any time of the day or night and don't have to bask to jump start themselves.
