insurance question?

well i was on public aid and now i am not the reason i was on it is becasue i was pregnanct and now i had him and now he is the only one on it which is good but i thought they wouldnt take me off of it until my 6 week check up why is this?

To make sure that you didn't have any post-delivery complications. If you would have had post-delivery complications then the medical care that you got for it would be covered by the State insurance program. They do this to also protect themselves from a possible lawsuit from occurring if you did have a problem but then nothing got done about it.
