No, but 10 years after I graduated from High School, I saw a guy who used to call me F#fgot, he was begging for money outside a 7-11.

The best revenge is a life well lived, full of joy and love. I try to live that life every day, and if the homophobes don't like it, well hard luck for them :-)
As for Mr Jelly's comments about 'homophobia' not being a true descriptor, he's incorrect of course. Any fear which is based on lack of knowledge, understanding or impact on the self is, by definition, 'irrational'. Unless Mr Jelly has an actual reason to fear 'homosexuals' as a group (and not just one homosexual who may have harmed him in some way), then his fear is irrational and his attitude towards homosexuals is 'homophobic'.
It's interesting that people who will not come clean about the fact that their views are prejudiced often claim that words such as 'bigot' and 'racist' are used for effect rather than fact.
Anyone who has ever been part of any minority group, even temporarily, will be able to recognise that bigotry, racism, sexism, homphobia, prejudice and persecution are very real.
That's not to say they can't be challenged and overcome, but these things form a reality for many people.
It's a shame others can't open their eyes and recognise that reality and do THEIR bit to help change it!
Best wishes :-)

Revenge or getting even?
I've done it and I'm not proud of it. It's been a while. And I won't go into specifics. It was a hired job. And this particular individual had to leave the state over it.
I will never let my ego get that big ever again. I'm pretty easy-going now!

Yes.
When I was in fourth grade, someone that lived down the street from my aunt found out she was a lesbian and took it out on me and her kids, they would give their boys water balloons and rocks to throw at us every time we passed.
So We( Me, and my cousins Savannah, Bobby, and Kristin) found some spray paint and made a rainbow on their garage door, and then wrote god bless the gays. It was very beautiful, but the couple who's house we did it to didn't think so, they called the cops but the cops didn't do anything. Eventually they painted over it, but it stayed like that for about a week and a half.

YES, At work there was this guy who frequently asked me insulting questions about gays he would see on the street. Also, when we were in a group he would always refer to gaymen in derogatory terms. He would talk about heterosexual incidentals or make inmflamatory gestures. Everyday I would frankly tell him that "I do not want to talk or socialize with you!", but he would not stop. One day, he said something and the supervisor walked near and I vented my anger. I was not 'out' at work so this was a bold move. The three of us had a meeting with Human Resources Dept. and he was told his conduct was sexual harassment and grounds for dismissal. Sometime later, during incidents reviving his old crap he came near me and I pushed him away. He came closer and I pushed him until he fell to the floor. I had witnesses to defend me. He was fired and I felt I had contributed to promoting Egual Rights for Gays.

no, but sometimes I truly wanted to....though it's not worth it in the end- it's their own ignorance and closemindedness that allows them to be so violent and homophobic in the first place. In truth they have enough problems without me seeking revenge of some kind.

No. I really, relly wanted to but thought better of it. I just got up, looked at him, shook my ahead and walked around him. I guess having defended his right to have the whole sidewalk and not allow a straight dude walking with who he assumed to be a gay dude access made him feel big. It just made me feel sad.

I punched someone in the face once, but I don't know if it's considered revenge as much as it is reactionary.
