Hello, I might have lost my old computer since I have a new one and my uncle thought that the old one was no longer needed. So, he took the computer out to the ranch and used it for target practice. There are three half-inch bullet holes in the pc that he managed to get before I stopped him.

Is there a way to get my old pc fixed or is it too late? I am not joking so please answer.

Duct tape fixes everything.

It depends on where the holes are. It may be possible to recover the hard drive and other pieces that are not damaged. Certainly if there is a bullet through any component it would be dead. You may be able to have the remaining parts installed into a new case with some new components. Depends on how good a shot your Uncle is.

Good Luck

Its probably dead unless he didnt hit anything inside the case. Or if he hit the motherboard only, you might be able to just buy a new motherboard. If you do this make sure you buy the same kind as the old one or one that is compatible with it. Put it next to your old one and unplug then plug in one thing at a time so you plug things into the right connection.

It really depends what he hit... the hardrive should be salvageable, provided it wasn't hit... though the data may be lost, if the vicrations caused the platters/discs to be distrubed much...

the video card is probably shot, the ram is probably loose..

all in all, certain components are probably trashed, but some may be salvageable.. I doubt all of the components will work in unison, in the same enclosure ever again though.

It all depends where the bullets went but I think the chance of it working again are a bit remote!

well I'd say no...but it depends on where the holes are?...if he didn't hit the mobo, you might be alright...you have to open it and see what it looks like in side

if the hole's went through the front where you turn it on...maybe...if they went through the center of the side, your SOL
