i have had my license suspended for 2.5 yrs. I have an eligibity date of 9/02/2007 to drive again. I called up penn dot yesterday. they said i have to send in the restoration fee, Reinstating fee (because my license was expired) and a signed document saying i dont own a vehicle in pa (so I dont have to show proof of insurance) . I was orginally going to do all this through John Yurconic *which is like a an official driver license center on 9/02* ( i went in there for a restoration letter and this is what the women told me to do), But when i called up penn dot, a woman said to send in everything through penn dot 30 days before and they will send me a camera card 10 days before my eligibilty date) I was like ,so you mean i can get my picture taken 10 days before and start driving 10 days before my eligibiliey date?( i asked her 3 times cause this doesnt sound right) and she said yes.Is this how is works? is she right? i live in pa. license was suspended for driving under suspension

I don't know the law there but if I were you I would wait until you are eligible. Wouldn't it suck if you got pulled over and charged with driving with a suspended license because she was wrong.
