I have a metal gearbox to my airsoft gun that has 2 wires connected to it that both are welded on to the gear box to make it run. One of the wires that was connected came off and I need to Solder it on again. I borrowed my neighbors Soldering Knife and tried to do it but it was no use. I was wondering if you can take things somewhere to get them soldered on or something. Are there such stores or shops? I live in Austin Texas by the way.

As others have suggested, a TV repair shop, a computer repair shop..
Also do a search on the web for electronics or shortwave radio or model railroad clubs in your area. You might even find a NEW hobby in the process. Soldering takes some practice, but it's simple.

It is not hard when you know how to do it. Good luck and hope this helps. If not, find a handyman that understands what you need done. An electronics/TV repairman might help.

A good TV and Video repair shop should be able to do it without too much expense.
