yeah, the raiders signed him today. but i dont think that was a good idea. if we sign him wat we gon do with stuart? but he is actually a good pass coverage, and so is the whole defense, and thats y they were ranked 1st in pass coverage..

I'm with you on that... Schweigert is a pretty good safety, and they have Huff on the other side. My guess is they signed Darius for insurance. I'm not positive on this, but I think they're planning on using Darnell Bing as a linebacker now, and he was their only decent backup safety, and even he is very unproven. Now they can play to suit the situation by swapping Schweigert and Darius in and out, and they also have a very good backup in case someone is injured. So I guess it makes sense because it gives them a few more options.

I think its good for them. He will be a good veteran influence on the young guys. And the Raiders allready had a pretty good team and now there going to be even better.

As long as Al(i dress as a porn king)Davis is there the raiders are going to be a joke.Look I hate the raiders but back in the day 70s & early 80s .I did like to watch them but now if I had a choice to watch them now or yard work in winter ,yard work in winter wins.

While it's always good to add a seasoned veteran to a young team, I think we're eventually going to be chocking this one up as yet another failed attempt of Al Davis signing another washed up player to make the team better when their best years are obviously behind them.

Oakland can't do anything right. Al Davis needs to die already. Donovin Darius is old and gets hurt often. That is why the Jags let him go. If he plays, he will get burnt like he stole something.
