growing up it was my great grand mother who was very wise and kind, until she passed away, later on it was trial by error you could say, now it is my guy, my soul mate, my other half. He is every thing i am not and everything i am.

I used to rely on my mother-in-law and her wisdom and openness as my spiritual director. She didn't have the education I did, but like my grandmother had a knack for asking the right questions and never showing any prejudice, I heard nothing evil from either about anyone, and miss them both since their deaths. They still exist in my wife and I.

Unfortunately in real life, I am the smartest person I know.
At my job, my previous boss is uber-smart.
As far as Yahoo there are 2 people in R&S who have been a real lifeline for me and I don't know how I would have made it through the last month without those 2.

It was my dad and my brother in law. They've both passed away so, more or less, I am on my own. I have the benefit of reading many books, enough to have formed a solid life philosophy that works for me.

It depends upon the type of counsel sought. Business: Dad; recovery: my sponsor or a few more "together" old-timers; spirituality: a certain friend from StumbleUpon; computers: my husband; agriculture: a neighboring farm owner.

Well depends on the subject, mostly mom, friend, or a pastor either mine or one from a church camp I go to. I can depend on them all, but I'd rather depend on God.
God Bless
