Because I am. I go on dates, work full-time, go to the gym, but save for working, all these things are done occasionally.

Is there something wrong? Or is that life? I also make good money and struggle with the bills, even though I only rent?

Adjustment to the "real world"?

Im not desperate, only human.

YES, that's normal. It is referred to as a Quarter Life Crisis. I'm SO not being sarcastic.

The quarter life crisis (QLC) is a term applied to the period of life immediately following the major changes of adolescence, usually ranging from ages 21 - 29. It is recognized by many therapists and professionals in the mental health field.

If you're struggling with the bills--that doesn't leave you a lot of money for socializing. Also, people who work full-time are generally very stressed-out, and need some rest and relaxation. Not too many full-time workers have a lot of time for partying--even if they have plenty of money.

My suggesting would be to find free and low-cost places to go on dates. Outdoor concerts, bowling on off-hours, movie matinees--when it is much cheaper, picnics/barbecues, camping, the beach/lake, lunches out instead of dinners (much cheaper), the zoo or museum on free/reduced-price days, etc.

Nothing's "wrong". It's a part of life. And, it's normal to feel this way at *any* age. I don't know about "adjustment to the real world", but maybe just "welcome to the real world".

Google the term "saturn return". It's the kind of concept that I don't generally subscribe to, but this one makes some sense.

I feel ya, man.
