I'm going for child support and have 2 kids with this guy. He's a very devious, vengful little weazel. He also told a friend that 'I wasn't getting a dime from him' and that he would sooner move to another country than pay.

I would not trust everything the friend of a weasel would say!
That said, primarily the best ways of getting out of this that I can think of would be:
-moving out of the country
-Don't work
- work "off the books" or own your own business
-change jobs frequently (by the time they catch up with you to garnish your pay you are gone)
FYI - In most states you can prevent the renewal of a person Drivers license or professional licenses if they have one for nonpayment

I have no idea on the many ways people can cheat others out of what is rightly due.
But I do know that you have rights and if you haven't yet, then start interviewing family attorneys.
Pick the one that you feel is right for you in your case.
And then plan out your offense.
If this is your ex-husband then he deserves to be legally castrated for not helping his kids out.
Hopefully, you weren't stupid enough to have had babies without marrying this loser.

Men like that disgust me. I've seen men quit their jobs because their wages have been garnished and I've even seen them move from house to house so that they cannot be found by the courts. Some men think that a woman can actually make a living off child support. In most cases child support only "helps" to maintain a household.. Good luck!

I doubt he will leave the country. After you go to court over child support. He will have to pay. They will garnish his wages, keep his income tax refund, and throw him in jail if he does not pay, as they will hang a warrant for his arrest over his head. If he works under the table, try to find out where he works and tell the courts.

Unless he works for cash only - his employer has to use his Social Security Number to report his wages the IRS. If he refuses to pay, then they can garnish his wages...
Basically, he can change his name (illegally), leave the country, pay everything in cash (and work for cash), or obtain fraudulent documents to "start a new life" with... ;);)

he can stop working~ If he shows he is unemployed OR makes wayyyy below poverty level you will get very litttle support.
