50 grand for buggering up a kiddies phone in seems a bit harsh.

Channel 4 did much worse. The fine should have been Richard and Judy never appear on TV again.

even worse nobody got the sack and they blatantly knew they were taking money from viewers and misleading them...this is theft ...
...and some one in a million decent lawyer should pick up on this and prosecute them..
..this wasnt a mistake just greed ...and if the corporation thought they might be prosecuted and jailed maybe someone should take the fall..its offensive when somebody clearly wasnt doing their job and has extorted money from people that they still go to work at the tv station that people are still viewing and paying for..

As in all these BIG companies the fines etc as paid from the profits.....I would like to see this changed, eg, Any fine HAS to be paid from the Directors own pockets.

That is the way the cookie crumbles. The money goes to the exchequer for the government to waste. So where is the problem?

I WOULDN'T BE AT ALL SURPRISED IF ITS ALL TRUE BUT WHAT ARE THEY USING FOR MONEY//yes it should come out of the directors salaries
