SaraJess is right, there was an accident in Kentucky where a cable broke on the sky screamer at the Six Flags park and wrapped around a girl's feet. It was pretty gruesome. I haven't heard any reports about someone falling off of one though.

Looking at the news, I find reports of amusement park accidents in China, New York, and Kentucky.

I also found that the name "sky screamer" is associated with many accident reports.

I advise you to type "sky screamer" in your search box, or "amusement park accidents" or call the amusement park near you and ask them if a ride is closed and why?

i thought that a cord/cable broke lose and wrapped around her feet (during the drop) and they were cut off. if it's the same ride you're talking about...not sure.
