If you're a white male, there's little you can do.
Despite the fact that you were doing your job, if you're white and a black man that's less qualified is brought in, there's nothing you can do.
You could always move to the country where there's no diversity, but then instead of blacks, Hispanics, or foreign born people that are less qualified replacing you, it will be women.
It's part of being a white man in America today, get used to it.
Since changing my last name to a Latin one and learning to speak Spanish, I get called for interviews all the time. Unfortunately the human resources person always frowns when I walk in the door. "You're Mr. Rivera? Why, Why, we were expecting a...." What a Hispanic man? Nope I'm white! My ploy didn't work, but it's sure good for a laugh!

No union and no contract, in maximum states that leaves the corporate waiting to terminate employment for any reason exterior of race, gender, etc. The company does not even could desire to furnish a reason to the worker, an uncomplicated "you're fired" without words to stick to is sufficient sufficient to end at-will employment.

If you live in the united states, an employer can fire you for whatever reason they see fit. However, if the reason that an employer fires you was because of race, gender or sexual orientation, you might have a case and there is help for you. But other than that, you would just have to wait and see. Your type of situation happens more than you know it to others.

Keep a list of what when went on, a diary if you might listing date, time, what was said etc. That way you have documented proof of any accusations you might have to make in the event that you do get fired. It then moves a step beyond he said she said etc. When confronted with date times what was said most people cannot back up their claims because they do not do this, and puts them on the spot

The best thing you can do is to KEEP doing your job - unless they have some actual proof that you AREN'T, then there is very little they can actually do to you. Document any proof of your manager's innapropriate behaviour, as well as your own actions (both posiive AND negative) - and present these either to THEIR boss, or HR.
Remember these two words - Wrongful Dismissal. IF they ever DO fire you, then you can take them to court - and most likely win ;);)

In many states the only reason necessary to terminate someone from employment is that the employer wants to terminate you. If you meet the requirements for unemployment, you may be able to draw an unemployment check for a specified time so you can find work. If you file for unemployment benefits the employer may contest your right to get the benefit and you could be denied any benefit.

They can fire you -- they don't need to try.
However, if you can show the firing is retaliation to a complaint you made about your boss, then you are protected by law and can sue to get your job back.

You should have pulled the mgr to the side
and told him not to swear at you. Lay low don't discuss this with any more employees it only fuels the fire. Fly below the radar and see what happens.

if your not doing your job they should have written you up and had it put in your file, you should go to HR and put something in writing, let them know what he called you when and where you were at the time, and ask if you were not doing your job why have you not been written up before now, it sounds like your boss has not been doing his job.
