Has anyone had any violations today or had their account suspended by Yahoo Team.

I have received 2 violations today and last week my account was suspended. I was on level 6.

Those of us who are being given violations for nowt, need to get in touch with Yahoo Team and find out what is happening. It is wrong why innocent people are being given violations.

Not today. How can you get suspended on level 6, surely this shows that you are good at this and asking and answering questions so I assumed the Yahoo team would look into why someone on this level would suddenly merit a suspension. I would have thought they should look into whoever keeps bringing up violations and who is trying to mess all this up. They must be aware by now that there are more and more people complaining (about violations etc) and look into it. If they do not from what I have seen more and more of us are considering leaving or just not bothering to come onto this site any more. I know I am, a lot of my favourite people are disappearing and I include those who do not have the same views as myself. I want it to be lively and interesting, I do not want yes-men, I want questions and answers that make me think, laugh and sometimes get angry. This is making me angry!

In all seriousness, I understand your plight. I had asked a similar question before, not only as a complaint, but in an effort to determine why this was happening. What I can tell you is that it is possible one or more persons may have objected to a question or opinion you had, and decided to forward a "report abuse" on your behalf. It is also possible someone was upset you had not chosen their answer as a best answer, and decided to "report abuse". Yes, all situations are wrong, and frustrating. They may have even been jealous you were on level 6. People are that petty, I have discovered. What I was told, is that when you receive a violation notice, forward an email with a complaint and explain why you should not have received a violation notice. Often, your points will be restored; not always, but sometimes. I feel for you, esp. as you were on Level 6. Hopefully when school returns back in session and all the teenagers and young adults go back to college, this will die down.

Yes I am sick of the stupid Violations.... some of them are down right petty & as I am being monitored by someone from Yahoo.FR - the French can sometimes have a problem decifering my glaswegian twang ...Yahoo - also have a problem with the word Muslim & Islam ..as soon as you type these words ..they are on to you in a flash.. citing racism..

yeah, i got a violation for just saying yes!

I had a level 4 acct and it took me a year to get to it. Yahoo just suspended it! Pissed me off.

I have and I have e mailed Yahoo and guess what ???? NO RESPONSE !! It's getting silly now. Am off to my bed now after a night shift and I bet I have another waiting for me after answering this message pmsl !

none today.. but my last account.. i was almost to level four, but they deleted me and i still dont' know why. most of the violations i had were bunk. like, people just didn't agree with what i had written. lame, huh?
