I feel you. They always want to point the finger at the rappers. We should create out own record companies that play conscious Black music like Common, Talib Kaweli, and India Arie. And we should also create out own conscious TV network and radio stations for Hip-hop and R&B because BET is one of the main factors thats killing hip-hop.

Just be glad they're keeping everyone focused on hip hop/rap and not promoting anyone who tries to (FINALLY) bury it once and for all. After all, rapper's delight has only been regurgitated for 28 years..... Remember when black music used to reinvent itself every 5 years or so? Now it's the recording industry's dream come true that they've kept a whole generation so brainwashed they can't possibly imagine music that's not hip hop/rap or rock.

Music is getting worse all you hear is booty booty booty shake it and snap it. I remember when music in general meant something it was a release from the times now its all about getting money and sex but if people didn't buy it they wouldn't make it people decide whats going to play on our radios and unfortunately the majority of people like to listen to this crap
