My Daddy was the voice of law. I thanked him often right up until the end and if he can hear me I am thanking him still.

Oh yeah. I'm almost 30 and my dad is still the voice of doom...to the grand kids now though. I never thanked him for scaring the sh*t out of me when I was kid. Maybe one day I will.

Yes and in a way.
I was constantly on resriction when I was in HS. Mostly because my father wanted me to stay a child forever. I didn't even go out on a date until I was 19! But I do somewhat understand why he did it now.
