Okay so I've heard people talking about this weird trailer before the Transformers movie and it really doesn't have an offical name and is related to J. J. Abrams. Does anyone want to fill me in on this? What kind of movie is it? Is there a release date? Etc.?

According to Imdb, this movie will be about "a monster attack in New York as told from the point of view of a small group of people." It's being released on January 18, 2008.

There are two credible ideas. One it's a Voltron movie and two it's a movie which revolves around three or four people that experience a giant monster attack on their city (think of a disaster movie mixed with a monster movie).
