dating as practiced in western countries is unknown to indian guys and gals. then no question of considering it as bad does arise.

Well it is but no one really cares anymore becasue the western style overtook india. more people are like "westernized" so they don't follow the tradition anymore.

i am not sure whether this is true to modern civilization, but i heard somewhere that males and females are separated once they get to puberty. so i guess so, though i don't know.
