how can you have it both ways. do americans have shorter life spans because of the food we eat "supersize me" or because of our health care system "sicko"? \
this is to say nothing of the real reasons that we have a more diverse makeup of people in this country and different races need different treatments at times.

How is that having to both way? I think you don't really know what that term means. Both are contributing to the problem. Having it both ways would be saying you don't think pollution is a problem, yet saying you use incandescent light bulbs because of the pollution in florescent ones (I've seen this from people).
And the diversity has nothing to do with it. We are more obese, have more diseases, and live less then most western countries. Many of them have similar diversity, or more of a minority race then us.

Different races need different treatments sometimes? You ignorance is in full view for the world to see. White, Black, Hispanic, Asia and anything else comes to the ER with chest pain, they all get treated the same. When the marketing pundits came up with super size it wasn't to increase the value of the meal but the profit of the meal. Resulting in increased obesity and atherosclerosis. Profit mongers in the health insurance industry raised premiums to insure greater CEO pay not patients. End result sicker people less care.
Now you can go back to "My Pet Goat".

Bad nutrition, bad health care, worse pharmaceuticals. And a handful of others. It isn't one or the other. It's a combination. Once again if you would WAKE UP! you would see this is a people situation. Not Liberal/Con. I don't understand why some of you want to pretend that health care in this country is'nt a mess.

You can have it both ways very simply...
If you do things that are harmful to your body, you reduce your health and your life expectancy.
If you don't to get health and just take drugs to ignore the symptoms, then the underlying problems get worse.
It's like asking how you can have it both ways -- either fires spread because people light them, or fires spread because the fire department doesn't respond.
Both, of course.

You are WRONG about different races.
Where does your bigotry come from? We all need the same care in case of a car accident, a fire, a heart attack, poisoning, birth defects, cancer, domestic or work place injuries, etc.
Wow, how ignorant are you and do you really represent conservatives?
LOSER!
