McCain is flagging. He's losing base and personal energy. I think seriously thinking about the prospect of running for the big one this time took some critical ingredient out of his constitution -- charisma, sponaneity, personal credibility as a speaker... I can't quite put my finger on the malady, but I recognize it. And his thinking changed once he started getting serious about running. He was a critic of Bush in Iraq at one point, and then right after, he started walking just so and talking just so as if he had taken the temperature of the American people via the Harris Poll and decided to tell some of them what they'd been wanting to hear all along. Problem is, it is exactly what Bushco has been fabricating all along. So McCain became just another dittohead of Bushco. That's sad. He blew his creds with me, and a lot of people at this point, I think.

Who is the real McCain, what does he stand for, and what makes him proclaim a position -- personal opinion, or trying to cash in?

Are you kidding me?? A Republican running on the Green Party ticket?? No freaking way, especially not one who supports the Iraq War.

He is more Democrat than Republican except for his support for the war so let him try. He is still for Amnesty which I believe 80% of the public is still against. No, he will not win.

I think so. I normally vote democrat but seriously think I'll go with McCain due to his environmental record. He also has a son in the military so I think he'll try harder to bring the troops home.

I think that McCain would be better off running as an Indy or for Unity08 (no offense to the Greens). Thanks!
