Use a moisturizing body scrub, rinse & apply lotion while skin is still moist. Recipe for body scrub: http://www.care2.com/greenliving/homemade-sugar-scrub.html

Wash your face at least twice a day with a good soap/cleanser formulated for dry and problem skin. Philosphy Purity Made Simple is one of the very best. Don't use heavy creams or you'll create more problems. Witch Hazel is probably the best toner/astringent as it doesn't dry out the skin. Exfoliate regularly with a mildly abrasive scrub formulated for dry and problem skin, and follow with a light-weight moisture cream. Look for one made for dry skin and mild acne. You could alternatively use a disposable Buff Puff with your regular facial cleanser.

Hi:)

On the cheap the best thing you can do everyday is wash with
an original white Dove soap bar and use new Garnier
Nutritioniste lotion. Use witch hazel as a natural toner.

You can also make your own natural Olive Oil and Sugar
scrub. You can scent it with lavendar and mint if you like.

1 clear plastic jar
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
Scented oils (optional)

Place some on a wash cloth and gently rub in circles anywhere you need exfoliation. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Rinse with warm water.

If you would like to spend a little more money, you can get a complete skincare regimen. DHC.com, these products are the best because they use natural olive oil which is great for your skin. Try to get
a set like this

Try exfoliating 2-3 times per week. I like St.Ives Apricot scrub or Dove Exfoliating facial wash. The Dove is a bit more gentle. Also, apply lotion right after you wash your face or get out of the shower. The lotion will lock in the moisture your skin has just soaked up.

A Dove soap bar works well. Just don't use a washcloth or hot water. The washcloth won't get into your pores, and hot water dries your skin out. Body butter works, and so does coconut milk. I use Noxzema Triple Clean Anti-blemish Pads, which also brings moisture to your skin. Sugar and olive oil work well. So does an avocado mask (start mashin' those avocados. LOL). In the shower I use Ivory liquid body soap, Oil of Olay Shower Moisturizer and straight saff flower oil. Makes for silkly smooth skin. You can buy the saff flower oil right off the grocer's shelf. Pour it into a spritz bottle to make it easier to apply. It's got vitamin E which is good for your skin.

i use vaseline because you get really soft skin. also hotr water from the shower drys your skin so moisturise straight after the shower and use a cleanser specifically for dry skin.
