Probably means the defendant has withdrawn the motion that was to have been argued on that court date on the calendar.

It means that the defendant had filed a motion that was to be heard on that date, but that defendant later filed a Notice of Taking Motion Off Calendar. Bottom line: No hearing on the motion on that day.

I haven't seen that abbreviation, but I'm assuming NTC is short for "Notice".

Basically, it looks like a notation where the defendants were notified (received notice) that a particular motion was taken off the judge's calender -- meaning that the judge was not going to hear arguments for that motion on the previously scheduled day.

What legal term? There is an abbreviation. There is no universal codex of abbreviations for attorneys. If you are unsure ask your lawyer or the Court's Clerk. (The Clerk usually is the one who writes the notes)

"No Terminus Contendre", it's latin meaning "you must appear".
