how do you buy like handheld things like cell phones and mp3s in the Sims 2?

Okay, so one of my sims wanted a cell phone and an mp3 and a handheld game thingy, but when i went to the shop i couldnt find itt!!! where do you get it from??

They are available at community lots. One for sure that have them is the Comando Exporium. There are more stores that sells the cellphones but I can't think of any off hand. It will be in the more general stores so you probably won't wind them in resturants, clothing stores, flower shops, etc. Also try the Corner Shoppes. The cellphones, handheld game, and mp3 is found in the blue thing with a picture of the phone to the back.

They are sold at stands that look like the phone booths. They came with the Univeristy expansion pack.

Most of the stands aren't found in stores, but rather outside them. But they look just like the phone booths that are on the edges of the screens, the ones you use to call the cab with.
