Liberal and Neo conservative alike seem to block users frequently, not allow email or im, and report people who answers there questions in the same frame of mind that they asked. Honestly, I am not asking for us to get along or anything; but why do the trolls think they are tough by blabbing something for 5- 10 questions in a row, getting another yahoo ID deleted ,and then starting all over again?
I don't know I guess I just would like to see some real thought out political questions that actually spark debate and not an elementary school name calling contest.

usama_bin_limbaugh this user does not allow im or email but is tough enough to call me a lossely tied bundle of sticks. Why he wants to try and cut me down by making a claim that I am fire kindling I can't figure out.
As to saying we can't have debate, my email is open(I don't IM ever) email me and I anwser. That's debating. Being able to express your thoughts and be ready to defend them.

chill out. you can't squeeze an idiot and expect genius to pour out. Many of the people you cite don't have the mental capacity to form an intelligent question much less an intelligent answer. they are rightfully called trolls and there's no hope of them ever rising any higher than that. sorry.

For some this is recreation, amusement and a way of being connected to others. Some of the posters do stretch the limits for sure. Maybe they are bored. Homework is done and no friends to play with so they sit on daddy's computer and post questions and answers with the big people.
The best thing I have found is to muddle through. Asnswer fire with fire and ignore others. If someone is really over the top, like the guy with the disgusting avitar awhile back, they deserve to be reported. Otherwise it is fun to see how silly some of the questions and answers can be. As an old guy I find it quite amusing to see how ridiculous some people can be and think they are being serious. Have our schools failed? Were too many left behind?

ahh... I feel your pain. I think people who do this via Yahoo Answers or any other forum are afraid of confronting actual issues and debates... are not sure of where they actually stand... or are indeed elementary in their maturity.
All of that said, I don't add emails/im's merely because I do not have the time or space to deal with the "trolls" - the few and far between actual people I wouldn't mind carrying on a debate/discussion with seem to get lost in the mass quantities of crap I seem to actually get!!!

You're asking this when all of the dumbocratic candidates avoided debating on FOX like vampires avoid daylight? FOX has a bigger audience than CNN, could it be they wanted a smaller audience? Republicans had no problem debating on the more biased stations, looks like dumbocrats are the chickens.

This used to be kind of a fun forum for debate until the YA Nazis put all these censorship tools in place. Those that use these tools are merely cowards and probably not worth our time anyway, eventually they will block everbody and we will get back to intelligent adult debate.

They do these things because they are afraid of a real debate of merit. They have no logical, or factual material, so they spit out their lies and hate in a frenzy, then get deleted to start over. I think it is some kind of sexual release for them.

Excellent question! Also, I'm glad that you pointed out the fact that people on both sides are guilty of this. My guess is that the trolls tend to be angry (perhaps even fanatical) and they can't stand the fact that there are people who disagree with them. What's worse is when there are trolls from both sides together and they're constantly going at each other.

How could any "debate" ever happen here? It's just digital grafitti and all the so-called "trolls" know that. How could debate happen at all in this format?
Yahoo created this format to hook you in and keep you clicking for Advertising revenue only.
