HA! Can you be successful? Yes. I've seen people with ACT scores in the lower teens become highly successful in college. People put so much weight into the ACT/SAT scores and once you start your first class in college they don't mean jack! Comparing scores in college is like bragging about having the coolest lunchbox in high school....it doesn't happen. The test scores help with admission and scholarships, after those two things are past they mean nothing.
So an ACT score of 20 will not make you successful in college, only you can make you successful in college.

Yes you can! Once you get into the college you're going to, high test scores on things like the ACT mean a lot less.
Some people are really smart, but don't test well. Some really smart people who do test well, have never tried in their life, then get to college and FAIL because they bite off more than they can chew and aren't used to having to study... (my cousin; I've been told that I'm about to follow in his footsteps, too). Some people let poor test scores motivate them to try harder!
Being successful in college has less to do with your ACT score, and more to do with how hard you're willing to try. As long as you apply yourself, I'm sure you'll do well! Good luck!

It really just depends what college you are going to. Big universities require SAT or ACT scores. But some colleges do not require an ACT or SAT score. Some have their own test which determines where you rank.

Test scores are just a means of measurement used to try and predict success. Hard work and long hours of study are needed to be successful.

Yes, anyone can be successful as long as they study. I know someone with a score of 18 and they have a 3.7GPA. I would take a study class and learn how to prepare for college! Good Luck!

OH YEAH! someone i know is a 4.0 gpa student. and they scored not very good on the ACT, but they are still doing dual enrollment, and thats when you are still in High School and taking college classes, and then that person will go to a university as soon as they graduate High School. so don't worry!

I have friends that had gotten worse and they got into a state university without a problem!! plus, universities look more at your overall GPA cuz you could be one of those people who are bad test takers.

Testing means very little. How you study and apply yourself means much more. You can be successful if you apply yourself.

Of course you can.
I am not sure if you have to take remedial courses or not.
