This is a true story, he was an x-ray tech and something to do with going to clinics and he got caught doing something illegal. Would only people reply that knows something about it and not the 2 point wanters!!

It's quite likely that he was stealing silver. All x-ray film is covered with a fine layer of pure silver. During the developing process some of the silver is washed off the film and is retained in the processing unit. The guy probably found a way to recover the silver from the unit....That's my guess....

Something in your question is WRONG. Unless he found a way to read your credit card numbers with the x-ray machines at the airport, or a courthouse, scamming you using an x-ray machine is not possible.
