In college (95-99) I drove a 1982 beige Volkswagen Rabbit that no matter what I did smelled like coconut air-freshener because the old owner hid a million of them EVERYWHERE. I was still finding them the day I got rid of it.
Now I drive a 99 Honda Civic that thankfully doesn't smell like Malibu Barbie. Whenever I smell artificial coconuts I think of that car.

In college I drove a 1984 Ford Tempo. I actually bought while in High School and it lasted me several years. I upgraded to a 1995 Ford Crown Victoria and now have a 2005 Dodge Truck.

Didn't go to college, but up until last year I drove the car I had in high school (motorcycles are an entirely different matter - there's a reason that car had so few miles on the clock). Finally traded it in on a 2006 Toyota Tacoma.

Yes I do - I drive a 2000 Jetta. I graduated college in 2005, and I plan on keeping this car until it dies.

No. My dad bought me a Beamer after my divorce. He always thought the marriage was a mistake so for him it was time to celebrate. So I teach high school and I drive a BMW. Because Dad never liked my ex- husband. Funny how things go.

NO, thank GOD! I drove a 1992 Chevy Beretta then-- total hunk of crap. Now I've got a 2004 Honda CR-V. Much nicer, and so much more reliable!

My car got repo'ed & it was a 2005 Hyundai Elantra, & now it's downgraded to a dumb 1994 Honda Prelude that won't run.
