My guess would be no. I believe he will finish his career in Cincinnati unless Griffey himself requests a trade to a contender so that he will have an opportunity to go to the world series before he retires.

The Reds will not trade Griffey because he's the only thing drawing fans to the Great American Ballpark to watch a mediocre fourth place team. Almost anyone else on the Reds is on the block including Dunn, Harang, and Arroyo.
I would expect the Giants to move anyone they can besides their young pitchers. Ray Durham could help a contender off the bench, and Omar Vizquel, despite the money owed him, is still a great defensive shortstop.
I think the Rangers will be looking for prospects for Mark Texiera. The Cardinals, even though they are only eight out, may try to move Molina, Edmunds, or Eckstein.

I don't think he will for some of the reasons already provided.
Other guys on the block will be Jermaine Dye, Adam Dunn, Max Tiexiera, almost anyone on the Nationals over 30, Reggie Sanders.
If my Cards have a tough road trip to open the second half than Jason Isringhausen could be.

I doubt it and thinks Adam Dunn is more likely to depart than Griffey.
Other players on the market? Jermaine Dye of White Sox along with Jon Garland and Javier Vasquez, Andruw Jones of ATL, Orlando Hudson and Eric Byrnes of Arizona, Pat Burrell of Phillies...good luck on finding any takers on him.
If the Yankees keep on their downward spiral I believe A-Rod and Johnny Damon will be made available.

I think Griffey will want to stay, since that's the team he chose to be with when he signed with the Reds (when he could've gone elsewhere). As far as the Reds go, he's the guy people will buy tickets to see even if the team is losing, especially now that he's having a good season.

Griffey has 10/5 trade veto rights. He's not going anywhere unless he wants to go there.

Griffey went to Cincinnati on his own because his dad played there. He's not likely to leave or get traded.
