You can often find nice jewelry at department stores like Dillard's, Foley's, Macy's, etc. If you have a Kohl's in your area, they have nice jewelry, too and often run sales. Check your Sunday sales ads for specials and coupons. You can find better deals around Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, but you may be able to find something.

I got a nice pair of diamond earrings on sale at Kohl's for $80. Sure, they aren't the super fancy kind you would get at a jeweler, but they look very nice. You can also order from their website and if you sign up for their sales emails, they will send you a 10% off coupon.
