I need to know how you extract text from a website in order to edit it? Do you just print it out or is there other ways to do this? If so, please tell me what you know.

Generally, you would highlight the text and then copy it into a word processor. To highlight text using your mouse, position your cursor at the beginning of the text. Press and hold your primary mouse button (commonly the left-button); while holding the button, move the cursor to the end of the text and let go of the button. This will highlight all text from the beginning to the end; if you move your mouse down while holding down the mouse button you can also select multiple lines of text. Alternatively, you can hold down the CTRL and press A to highlight the entire page you are on.

At this point, you need to copy the text you just highlighted. Let go of the mouse without clicking the buttons (will erase the highlight) and either click Edit from the top menu in the program and click Copy or right-click the selected text and select copy. You can also use CTRL+ C to copy.

Once the above steps have been done the text will be moved into a temporary area known as the clipboard. You can then paste the text any number of times into any other document until something else is moved into the clipboard.

At this point, you need to paste the text you just highlighted. Open a word processor and either click Edit from the top menu in the program and click Paste or right-click the selected text and select paste. You can also use CTRL+ P to paste.

As some have suggested, pasting the text into notepad is a good idea to get rid of formatting before sending it to a word processor. However, you can open Microsoft Word and use Edit -> Paste Special -> Unformatted Text to achieve the same effect without Notepad at all (little bonus tip for you).

You can highlight the text and copy it to your clipboard (crtl-c) and then paste it (ctrl-v) into notepad. Notepad does not accept any of the formatting, so it will be removed. You can then copy the text from notepad and paste it into Word or wherever you are going to edit it.
