For fourthy: a quote from Newt.
"I feel that my contract failed because the lobbyists continued to have too much power. I feel that they pretty much ended up owning the republican party, and George Bush is a good example of where that leads." (Interview The Nation, 2005)

What are you talking about? Newt is single handedly the main reason that Clinton had such a great 6 years. After the Republicans took over congress, they passed welfare reform and Clinton took credit for it. The Republicans passed NAFTA and Clinton got the credit for it.
Newt did NOT attack Clinton. Newt did vote for impeachment, after all, Clinton not only LIED to the court, but he lied to the American people on TV. Then it was proven to everyone that he lied. ABSOLUTELY, not a shadow of a doubt. Yet, Democrats protected him. He should have been removed from office.

You mean the Contract ON America?
That's a good idea, spin the spin....while the right blames Clinton for every wrong Bush has done, the left can blame Newt for the war on Iraq!!!

tried Coup? attack AlQaed? Son, i don't understand what your drug of selection is, yet Clinton by no skill attacked something different than a abandoned camp, an aspirin production facility, the chinese language embassy, and despatched quite a few errant missiles into Pakistan. The camp he fired the missiles at became abandon over a month before and 3 months before the militia counseled that he hit it. the only reason he finally did became to take interest off his pending impeachment. the place do you get your historic previous from? Oh, by no skill strategies. Public education

It is NOT O.K to act seditiously. I warned Republicans back then that some of them were jumping on a trend toward disrespect toward our representatives that would make it harder for everyone.
My party followed right in their wake.
Now, I still speak up, and am called a "republican" for my efforts.
At the same time, your spreading unfounded rumors about Newt is just as seditious. What could possibly make you think otherwise? You mean it only applies to Presidents?
Nonsense. Anyone who stays silent when faced with sedition lets those people speak for them.
NOT ME!

Yes, while Clinton was publicly forgiving Newt for his indiscretions, Newt was planning on hanging Clinton for his.

Yeah, Newt mouthed off right up until he was forced to resign his position when his own indiscretions came to light.

Newt is clearly the most morally bankrupt politician out there. His attack on the 1st amendment gave me shivers. That is one scary individual.

I'm certainly not a fan of Newt Gingrich....
But one of the basic tenets of that "Contract with America" was that Congress would be required to obey the same exact laws that they passed for the rest of us to obey.
Wonder why so many Democrats were in such bitter opposition to that?
