i making beats and music, how do i copyright it?

Once you produce any creative work, it is copyrighted as soon as it is "fixed in a tangible medium" -- meaning recorded, written down, etc.

You can (but are not required to) register your copyright with the US copyright office (or the office in your country). This provides additional protections.

But the basic copyright is automatic, unless you take steps to release the work into the public domain.
