If its a PC:

Go to My Computer, Local Disk C, Program Files

Search for the Norton Anti Virus File, and Unistall it.

Or You can go to My Computer and at the right side of the screen click on Add or Remove Programs. There you search for it and remove it.

Or you can go to Start and then Search... You search for the Norton Anti Virus 2005 and you remove it.

In theory, go to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and simply choose "Remove" from Norton AV.
In practice, it is notoriously difficult to get rid of and if you find traces after the uninstall, go to the link below and download Symantec's (Norton's) own Removal Tool. That will clear everything off.

Go to Add Remove Programs in the Control Panel and uninstall it. It could be listed under "Norton" or "Symantec".

AVG Anti-Virus is a severe-severe high quality application. it would choose to not have each and every of the helpful factors that are risk-free with NAV, besides the fact that it nonetheless gets the interest performed. =) yet why pay for one reproduction of NAV, and easily provide up making use of it as at as quickly as through fact the subscription expires? it somewhat is almost pointless/waste of time and funds. =P yet AVG is stable. i like it. yet as quickly as you sense the might choose to have all of NAV's great helpful factors, i could desire to advise procuring the corporate version. it somewhat is purely a one-time (someplace around) $eighty value, for the acquisition itself. From then on, you get loose LiveUpdate provider for all times. =)
