I think that you should wait until after you have finished high school No need to add that extra pressure unnecessarily. But, after you complete high school....there should be no problem. I moved out when I was 18; am 37 now and I only moved back home for about three months after my apartment was burglarized after 6 years of being on my own. Works out better. If you stay in your parents' home too long into adulthood, it causes problems.

It's your choice, I think you should look into what you're going to face on the finances first before you make the decision to move out. If you don't have a job yet, i suggest you get one pretty soon and that is a decent pay that will help you make it out on your own. If anything just save up money to get you started that way you don't need to worry about running out and needing to have to move back with the folks. Look into it first before making the big jump!

will you be able to cope financially and being away from famillar surroundings and your family. you would be really on your own when you close the doors. as long as you are mature enough go for it. but do not stay behind and ask the same question when you are 40 you need to move on sometime

live with your parents until you get married. get a good job after college. save up for a down payment and buy a house. rent the house out so other people are actually paying for your mortage. when you move out, you own a house and you didn't even pay for it. its gold.

We live and we learn. Talk to your parents and get their input, especially about moving back in if things don't work out.
