Uh... I'm going with... YES. However, I think that you deserve it for not buying from a reputable and honest source.
Try thinking of it as a charity for people who might need the money.

One could say you got what you asked for as it technically is a solar powered dryer (although probably not the kind you were thinking of). Next time check for details on what it is you're buying for $600 as clotheslines definitely don't cost that much.

Yeah you did but I am not sure if you could do anything about it. You did in fact get a solar clothes dryer if you think about it. That is horrible that someone would do that.

Nope...I would say you got just what you paid for. If in fact you actually did pay for anything. This sounds like an urban myth to me. But if you did buy it then more power to you. The little yellow bus will pick you up in front of your house in the morning.

I would say so.
Do you have the name of the company? Get a lawyer and see if there is anything you can do about it. Internet makes it hard to actually catch the person though. Good Luck.

Yes, you got ripped off. And guess what - I sincerely doubt you'll get your money back. Years ago, there was a guy who GUARANTEED you could cut your debt in half. When you sent him money, he sent you a pair of scissors. So you could, literally, CUT you debt in half! It went to court and he won - his ads never said how he would do it...!
