Magglio Ordonez is having a great year and is an outstanding player, but he can't do all the things that Soriano can do. A question like this is open to personal opinion and there is no right or wrong answer. For me, I would go with Soriano.

Berkman is the best pure hitter of the group, Soriano is the best all around player of the group, Ordonez is having the best year of the group, Thome has had the best career of the group, and Dunn is the best at striking out of the group.

Magglio Ordonez. I bet he will win MVP. The only reason I say is because even though Alex Rodriguez is having a better season the Yankees aren't going anywhere thsi year, but Maggs is caring the Tigers into the playoffs.

I'd have to say Magglio Ordonez.

Dunn strikeouts out too much, Soriano strikes out a lot too.
Jim Thome has power and that's about it.

Ordonez it's for average, has speed, and a good outfielder as well.

Ummm, soriano. Yes Magglio is having an awesome season thus far (better than soriano), but soriano (based on his past seasons stats) has to be considered the better player. Soriano could easily go on a steaming pace after the all star break just as Magglio has this first half of the season. But simply based on his consistently awesome numbers from past seasons, soriano is more likely to put up the bigger numbers and is a crucial part of his team.

Ordonez is having the better season this year.

Over the past few years I'd say Soriano, but he's been hurt a bunch this year.

magglio ordonez. he is the best out of these people because he can hit for average, he's more clutch, and can hit for some power too. he is also a great fielder. he has a good arm.
