You know I am but only a bit ashamed and more puzzled by peoples reaction.
I think it's easy sometimes to criticize things when you don't see everything taking place.
There's a lot we need to fix and special interest groups have ruined the landscape, but I'm a firm believer in this adage:
We get the government we deserve.
Translation: Get involved and fix it if you don't like it.
The more we get involved, the better it will be.
It would help if people took the time to actually pay attention to the issues rather than the buzz words and slogans.
That goes for both sides frankly.

I was proud to be an American but now ashamed. just seems to be getting crapyer more taxes and wars for nothing.

i'm proud to be an American via fact of what our usa has been for the duration of historic previous and the rights we've via fact of our forefathers. yet as far as our modern state of government or our modern status as a rustic generally, it incredibly is a shame!!! the yank delight comes from the actuality that we've been a rustic for the human beings and with the help of the human beings. whilst elections are scammed and the president is primary to be affiliated with the very terrorists he has pledged to ruin there's no longer something to be pleased with! Our society would incredibly placed funds into tabloids than fund our college structures or elderly classes. collectively as our president gets richer and richer off of turning out to be oil expenses! hence why would the government no longer take great element approximately us all, we are permitting it to take place stunning formerly our eyes! What a shame it incredibly is!

Well, I suppose so, but I am pretty ashamed of what seems to be the general American attitude of "more, more, more" and "now, now, now". We have become a very selfish nation.

yes. Our gov't is pathetic. My four year old son could do a better job of running our economy into the ground. At least he wouldn't lie about it.

but um i know wat u mean cause u know were americans the strongest, best country in the world but at the same time our government is making us look bad to other countries by doing the dumbest things and worried about making money and thats it so yea i know wat ya mean
