That stuff is going to happen in baseball. I don't think Blanton meant anything by it, and it didn't look like Ichiro took offense.

Blanton just gave up four hits in a row and it was a warm day so he was probably pissed. I think it was one of those things where he was going after the ball and Ichiro was in the way, but then again if a guy like Vladimer Guerrero was in the way would have Blanton pushed him out of the way? Probably not. And I'm an A's fan to and I think the whole team is a little frustrated with the season, they pitch great and are still .500, it is going to be a long season.

Well honestly Blanton really had no reason to push Ichiro, i know he waz mad cuz da mariners took da lead, but Ichiro waz just standing there giving nobody any problem, & Blanton pushes him. Ellison waz wrong too, iy wasnt his fight, Ichiro didnt do nothin, he just walked away, so why da hell waz Ellison fighting???? It should of just be left like that, Blanton pushed Ichiro as an act of Frustration and dats it, Ellison next time should just sit his *** down next time & dont barge in into other peoples fights!!! He got Lucky cux Blanton would of kicked his ***!!

Ichiro is their franchise guy. Obviously Mariners see the need to protect their guy, even if there wasn't any bad intent in the shove.
