stinkin' drunk in a bar 2 hours away from your city...

Now, let me add that my pastor is a very strict pastor who does not allow his members to do anything but look like they are from the 1800's and act that way. He says homosexuals are the root of evil in society. He even says that black people are bad!(I, myself cannot believe he gets away with any of it) and of course drinking is of the devil. so is anything modern like technology. he's just a super strict *** who preaches hate and acts like him and the church our super holy and better than everybody else. Now, I grew up in this church and even went to school there because the church had a private school. and because of him I was never even allowed to watch tv as a kid or do anything remotely fun! So as soon as I was old enough I left the church...You can see why I was mad to find him drunk hiding in a bar....my question is should I spread the news of the hypocrytical bigot pastor like wildfire????

I'm torn because...

I'd really like to expose him to open up some peoples eyes who still go there but my aunt and her family still attend there and are always praising the pastor and talk about how good and smart he is. I don't want to start a family war but how can I not say anything after all he has done to me and everybody else that went there. I mean he really mentally f*cked us!!

Well personally, I would get a camera or camcorder, and take picturees or video of him in the bar, and then send it to the church elders.

Hypocritical Pastors like him, are the reason why the Christian faith has such a bad reputation now. You need to expose him for the hypocrite that he is. If you don't do it, who knows how many more lives he is going to hurt.

I can go you one better - suppose you found the priest that married your brother and sister-in-law stinkin' drunk at an all-male orgy?

People are human. I would not mention this to the congregation, but to him in private, to see what he does.
You could also ask how someone who flouts his own rules has any credibility to tell others what is "right" and "wrong." And then be quiet, and see how he tries to flounder his way out if it.

Spreading a rumor, even when true, is vindictive.
Now, if you were to ask this guy, "What would happen if this news go out?" is perfectly harmless.
Maybe you can convince him to allow a GSA or PFLAG or other supportive group to meet at the church - as repentance, doncha know . . . .

I will go you the same...I found a pastor who preached homophobia, in a remote gay bar, drinking (verboten) and a lone at the bar...I came up to him, asked if he would like to be plowed, he looked up and told me he was there to save souls! I told him we could talk about it after I screwed him...he said , OK ! I am still laughing about that one today..and that was many years ago. Trust me, he was not into saving souls during sex!

I can understand you feeling vindictive when a hypocrite has been dictating your morals and ethics for a lifetime but as the Bible says, "everything in moderation". If you spread it around town you will destroy the belief systems of many people. Please, take a deep breath, relax, and consider blackmail as a reasonable alternative.

you can either (1) leave it alone, and let his own karma catch up with him (it will, but it may take time), or (2) stake out the bar with a videocam and wait for him to return. Make copies and send them to various community people and the local newspaper.

I suggest #1.

he is now an alcoholic because of the way he preached and behaved, i would say something, either in a town letter you post yp letting ppl know where you saw him or word of mouth but he should be exposed. even though he is now in his own little drunken hell . 3 cheers for karma! haha

He needs to be exposed. The video thing is cool. Maybe get a hooker (gay would be best) to get him in a compromising position too! Yes, vindictive, but in my opinion these types are pure evil.

the world is full of hypocrites and he apparently is one of them. Don't lower yourself to his level. People who live a lie
have a way of shooting them ownselves in the foot without any help.
