I packed up over a year ago, it was easy. Glad I did it. Ive never felt better. I don't agree with the ban though. I think smoking in places that serve food is wrong. But smoking in a pub at night, that should be ok.
I think it will cause a lot more trouble than they think. Large crowds of people standing outside pubs and bars to have a smoke. Will lead to trouble. There has already been 3 fights outside a normally quiet pub in the town.
I used to love smoking, it chilled me right out. And when I smell it sometimes now, god I'm thinking about having one. The missis smokes, I could sneak one of hers. ...............

I have to stand outside the 'pub', but here it's a bar. Passed the law last July, saw fit to cut a time limit for rejecting new law short.
Can't smoke in restaurants, bars or within 10 feet of any city or privately owned building.

No and if i do give it up it'll be nowt to do with the new law..Funny how the roles have been reversed.I was out Sunday night and had to go outside the pub to smoke (more people outside smoking than in) but little kids were running wild inside !!! In my youth,no pub allowed kids inside but would cater for their needs outside..

I don't go to pubs or bars (I'm in the US) but I always protest this smoking ban when ever I can by saying Zieg Hiel and throw up my right hand to anyone that questions me about it.

no the government has made my relationship with cigarettes a life time thing. its not the wisest of choices but nobodies gonna dictate to me about stopping.
the ban is the most stoopidist thigs ever, and borders on human rights issues.
