Whenever I think of a really good answer to a question on Answers, the person before me has said almost exactly the same thing! Is it just me this happens to?

To explain, its only the person before - the other answers are completely different!

It's like they're thinking it and typing it while you are, too, just a few seconds faster. Then it looks like you're copying when you're totally not. Been there.

Ya true, that happens to me too, which causes me to like rarely ever get chosen as a best answer, because it seems like I wrote exactly what the person before did just so I could get 2 points. I mean like I just try helping people out, I dont answer questions just for the sake of those 2 points. But of course I dont mind getting points.
So, dont worry it happens to me all the time (=_=)

Yeah it happens all the time sometimes i remember to check the answers not to answer the same
but sometimes someone is typing the same answer the same time as me but gets there first
There`s not a lot we can do about it

It's not just you as it seems great thinkers think alike. It's funny when you think you are the first to anwer and then see people answered the same way you did within seconds of each other.

It's happened to me loads of times because I don't read anybody's answers before I answer. I read them from the bottom of the page up.

Been there, done that BURNED the T-shirt! Hate when it happens. But it does show that there are people out there like yourself. You are not alone. Not only that, if you laugh at their answers, you have to know that you are just as funny as they are.

I guess that's what the edit button was intended for, I've certainly had to think up something different because by the time my slow typing fingers finish, some other genius had beat me to it.

I know exactly what you're saying. I hate when that happens. I hate it so much that I often just leave my answer anyways.
