most definitely. but the fact that Kerry gave up before anything could be done- after losing by less than a 1% margin... should be very telling as well.
check out my link, lays it out statistically plain as day, how it was virtually impossible that bush won the election as it was purported to be.

The dems didn't want another 'Florida 2000'.
It was the right thing to do, although the reasoning wouldn't have been sound in any other situation(Kerry conceding quickly).
You cannot do to your rival, in retrospect, something that represents really what THEY(He) are, especially when the repubs had already done it once before(2000 - another unproven case of repub manipulation - which must have had 'meat on the bones' or the 'recount' would never have been ordered !!
The 'war' was on anyway. A fight for the presidency over the same thing again would have probably ended up in the Supreme Court, and as before, the Court would have 'anointed' Bush with its republican 'bent' - read: majority.
Also, at the time, the Congress was solidly Republican, and would have made for unwelcome 'bedfellows' for a democratic president, who may have 'won' the election by defeating an incumbent in court after a long delay as in 2000.
It took a lot of guts and class to do this - somethings of which W. has neither, except with the exception of his wife Laura.
Remember, in 2004, notwithstanding Ohio, W. did get a majority of the popular vote. In 2000, he did not !!

I just find it odd that every time a Dem looses an election the first thing they do is yell "fraud".
Why didn't we hear anything like that when the Dems won enough seats in last fall's election to be in control of the Congress?

There are strong indications of possible voter fraud.
However, nothing sufficient to prove the point in a court of law within the time frame (a few weeks) allowed for the challenge.

I agree with coragryph to a point.
I also believe that the people who wrote that article are more upset because the candidate they voted for didn't win.
Sorry, that's just my belief.

No, the Dems didn't win so they had to make up something and throw a temper tantrum and cost the tax payers more money. It still didn't work though.
