I would start with the Human Resources Departments of the different jobs you've worked at. Then I would go to the IRS.

Amaya is right. Start with your benefit coordinator. You should also be receiving quarterly statements for your plans unless you have moved and have not forwarded your new address. If you remember the name of the financial companies, i.e. principal, etc. You should also be able to call them.

Check each place you have worked. You should have been traveling with your 401K - that is what we call Rollover.
