believe God made me Gay for a reason.
What does the Bible really say about homosexuality? Actually, very little. Most significantly, Jesus said nothing at all. Considering the relatively small amount of attention the Bible pays to the subject, we must ask ourselves why this is such a volatile issue. Other subjects about which the scriptures say a great deal (e.g. judgment, pride, hypocrisy) receive much less passionate attention. Before looking at specific passages, it is important to note that everyone understands the scriptures based on, and through, the light of what they have been taught. The Bible was not written in a cultural void, and many of its instructions and laws are simply classified as less relevant today (e.g. prohibition against eating pork).
Nowhere does the Bible actually address the idea of persons being lesbian or gay. The statements are, without exception, directed to certain homosexual acts. Early writers had no understanding of homosexuality as a psychosexual orientation. That truth is a relatively recent discovery

That is pretty much the main reason that most poeple give. I have also heard psuedo intellectualls refer to it as a form of Darwinism. Being that most gays/lesbians do not have children of their own. Gays are no more of an abomination than people with different personalities...Let me ask you this though. Would it still be as big of an issue if no one made it an issue? I mean seriously it is not like you are going to change becase some self righteous yahoo tells you it is wrong and against gods will. So is judging people but it doesn't stop them....I say let it be between you an god. If you don't believe in god well then bonus for you.

You know what? You're NOT an abomination. Those who say that you are are just afraid because they don't understand. Who's to say it's not God's will? People need to stop judging and start loving. We're all the same in the eyes of our maker. We're all human beings. It's natural for you, and that is all that matters.

Ya'll aren't abominations. They're just mad because the can't accept the changes of time and that not everybody has to go by the classical belief of man marries woman!! Did we not fight for EQUAL RIGHTS????? So why shouldn't they treat lesbians, gays, bisexuals, and transgendered as equal as everybody else??? They said that you have the freedom of the pursuit of happiness didn't they?? I'm sorry u have 2 face this kind of discrimination!! I'm straight!! I'm Christian!! I have a bisexual friend?? So what?? How are others to say what God thinks??? They aren't God! God loves all his children!! If he didn't why would he had made us??? He's always had a plan for us before he even started making us. So who are people to say that God doesn't like gays, lesbians, transgendered, bisexuals...... I myself don't know for sure, but I have a better idea of it than those who say your abominations. They're haterzzzzzzz!!!!!

As a straight, Christian female, it saddens me that so many have such awful things to say about the GLBT community. Playing Devil's Advocate here for just a minute .. assuming homosexuality is a sin (not saying it is ... so relax!!!!) but saying it truly is a sin, we are ALL sinners... we have all failed God on one level or another. So what makes a straight sinner any better than a homosexual one?

All I can say is I have known a lot of gay people who were much better people and much less an "abomination" then a lot of straight people I've known. I'm a Christian, but don't take everything the Bible says literally.

Gays are not an abomination. Just because a person doesn't choose to love the same way I do, it doesn't make him or her wrong. Nobody here has received a ruling directly from God, regardless of what he or she may have said, so nobody knows what God's will really is.

How can they be so sure that our love is not 'god's will'?? That book they keep referring to was written by men, after all.
