Hey all,

Before I call in th expensive guys, can anyone tell me how to fix an F11 code on a Kenmore Elite HE4t washing machine? It's a front-loader, and while I love the machine, this is the code it's throwing!!! VERY frustrating!

Please, all you Mr. Fix-Its, can you help? Thanks!

Lots of complaints about this unit and the code. Expensive reports. Unplug it and wait a few minutes before replugging in. You can type in Kenmore elite/F11 code in your searchbar to see what others are saying. Good luck.

I don't have any experience with the Kenmore, but I do with the Whirlpool Cabrio, another frustratingly "advanced" machine with electronic controls and just a little too much sophistication for its own good (though I don't think they're related). It won't help you a lot to hear it, but I have this recommendation: Throw the machine away and go find a nice 20-year-old Maytag. The ones from before when Whirlpool bought them, and there were a grand total of -2- belts, each of which was replaceable without tools by simply tilting the machine backwards. I have lots of experience with those machines, and generally they don't fail unless you try to wash concrete blocks. They're pretty reliable. That, or hope Snow Bunny Rebel gives you an answer. Do whatever she says.
