I think the pyramids were built between 6 am and 7 pm with several breaks for food and water,they didn`t have arc lighting then so could only work during daylight,,,

The whole Pharaoh tradition is favourite by me. The pyramids were built as long as they suited this tradition which has been succeeded by skyscrapers.
